Is this really free? What's the catch?
Completely free, no catch. The tool runs entirely in your browser. We don't store your data, and the HTML file you download is yours to keep and host however you like. There's no account to create and no premium tier.
Where can I host my bio page?
Anywhere that serves static HTML files. Popular free options include GitHub Pages, Netlify, Vercel, and Cloudflare Pages. You could also upload it to your own web hosting. Since it's a single HTML file with everything inlined, there's nothing else to configure.
Can I edit the page after downloading it?
Absolutely. The downloaded file is standard web code. Open it in any text editor or code editor to make changes. You can also come back here, rebuild the page with your updates, and download a fresh copy.
Will my profile image work in the shareable link?
Because ToolCanvas runs 100% in your browser without saving files on a database server, uploaded images cannot be encoded inside the generated shareable link. If you want to use the shareable link feature, please paste an image URL hosted publicly (e.g. on Imgur or Gravatar) in the URL field instead. In contrast, if you download the standalone HTML file, uploaded photos are fully supported and embedded directly in the file!
